Hello world!

Certified Reverse Mortgage Professional, Harlan Accola, (NMLS #277693)  has been serving the mortgage planning and financial recommendation needs of Wisconsin residents since 1996, but this is Accolas second career. He began in business with an aerial photography service that the young Accola at first saw as a means to pay for his pilots license and the fuel costs associated with flights. The business soon grew, but Accola lacked the background in planning necessary to healthily expand his company. A few years into its operation, the business was in trouble with creditors. Harlan Accola cites Jack Stack, founder of Springfield Remanufacturing Corp., and creator of the Great Game of Business, an innovative management system, as providing the strategy Accola used to revitalize his company. Renamed American Images, Inc., the once floundering business earned $4.7 million in annual revenue by the middle of the 1990s.

Now Reverse mortgages are Harlan Accola’s main area of concentration. In an article he wrote for the Marshfield News-Herald, he explains that the modern reverse mortgage has improved from earlier versions. All loans recommended by Accola are guaranteed by the Federal Housing Administration, mortgage insurance is often paid by the bank, not the homeowner, and most of these loans are now offered at fixed rates.

Accola has written many finance-related articles for the Marshfield News-Herald and other publications of Gannett Co., Inc., such as the Wisconsin Rapids Daily Tribune and the Wausau Daily Herald. He also writes articles for Wisconsin Christian News, addressing such topics as ethics in finances. These articles reflect Harlan Accola’s goal of keeping both his clients and the public well informed about investment and loan options, enabling them to make good decisions for their financial futures.
